Back in May we told you that the MuchMusic line-up would include the likes of Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber and Katy Perry, but what we didn’t know was that we’d see Miley and Justin on stage at the same time. Miley also closed out the night with ‘Can’t Be Tamed’, the first single off of her new album of the same name (which comes out today). Earlier this year Justin noted that Miley wasn’t his deal, noting that he instead thoughtWaverly Place’s Selena Gomez was more his type. My advice to my former 16-year old self? Waste not wants not.
This is (at least) the second time this week that Miley has shared the stage with another star, as earlier in the week she joined former Poison frontman Bret Michaels in performing the classic ’80s rock ballad, ‘Every Rose Has Its Thorn’ (go see the video we posted of it, and Miley’s solo performance of ‘Can’t Be Tamed’). Justin recently released a fresh new video for the remix of ‘Somebody To Love’, which features his mentor, Usher.
