The 2010 MTV Movie Awards have come to a conclusion and amidst all of the festivities, unless you’re a Twilight fan you may have missed the actual winners of the awards. Admittedly the event itself always eclipsed the actual gravity of the awards – and has so from the beginning – so it’s perhaps only right that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart took home the night’s top honors for Best Female Performance, Best Male Performance, and Best Kiss (though I say that honor should go to Sandra Bullock and Scarlett Johansson–which took place as the former accepted the night’s Generation Award). The franchise also won Best Movie for last year’s New Moon and Pattinson added a humble little award called Global Superstar. Stewart, Pattinson and co-star Taylor Lautner were all in attendance to present a brand new clip from Twilight Eclipse (see the preview of the preview we posted yesterday!).
