Just days after she locked lips on National television with his wife, we get the news that Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds are reuniting on the big screen. Bullock was at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards where she awkwardly smooched Reynolds’s flame Scarlett Johansson. As if it the brief spectacle weren’t plastered all over the interwebs already, here is another glimpse, a la video, from us to you.
EW was the first to report the happy news. Bulloch and Reynolds were phenomenal in romantic comedy The Proposal. There was lot’s of chemistry there and with news of a second team up, many are wondering if they are the new Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks. The matching has certainly got my thumbs up!
The new project is tentatively called Most Wanted. Pitched by Proposal writer Peter Chiarelli, the project inspired a bidding war until Universal Pictures won out, offering a cool one million. Hopes are to snag Proposal director Anne Fletcher, too, so the reunion, not a sequel, can be more complete. EW.com reports, “The storyline for the movie revolves around a criminal (Bullock) being escorted to court by a U.S. Marshall (Reynolds). Both are ambushed on the way and are forced to go on the run.” Ouch. Nobody tell Jennifer Aniston. Ryan Reynolds is also playing Green Lantern in 2011.
