What has Beverley Mitchell been up to since the end of wholesome family show 7th Heaven, in which she played the role of Lucy Camden? Not a lot, but it appears that is all about to change for the 29-year old actress. TV Guide reports that the hit show from ABC Family Secret Life of the American Teenager has an opening.
But what could Mitchell be doing for the series? After all, she’s not a kid anymore. Well, it just so happens that former child star Mayim Bialik, who currently plays the school counselor–she’s no longer Blossom –has left the show, and Mitchell will be replacing her. This is a good move for Mitchell, who has stayed largely out of the spotlight since 7th Heaven‘s farewell. Should definitely make for an easier transition to film if that happens to be on Mitchell’s radar.
