Actress Elisabeth Rohm is well known for her television roles as Assistant District Attorney Serena Southerlyn on Law and Order, Detective Kate Lockley from the Buffy spin-off, Angel, and CIA Agent Lauren Gilmore from Heroes, season four. She announced recently on her website that she’ll be playing Twilight actor Taylor Lautner’s mother on Abduction, a new film from director John Singleton. Singleton was also behind Rosewood and 2 Fast 2 Furious. Sigourney Weaver, Maria Bello, Jason Isaacs and Alfred Molina also star in the Lionsgate thriller which will see Taylor Lautner as a young man on the run after discovering that the people he believes to be his parents are not. The internet leads him to the discovery that Rohm’s character is his biological mother. Emily Mortimer was originally cast for the role that Rohm has taken over. Taylor Lautner’s Twilight Saga: Eclipse character, Jacob, is often shirtless and making young women scream. Check him out in some film stills or read a review of the third Twilight Saga film.
