Faster teaser trailer with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson
Releasing on November 24 is Dewayne Johnson’s shot at redemption after the embarrassing Tooth Fairy. Titled Faster, this action pic looks to make better use of Johnson’s physical prowess as well as his surprising likeability in front of a camera given the dubious nature of his roots. Let’s face it. Pro wrestlers aren’t exactly Oscar material, but Johnson stands out.
BSC has been following the revenge thriller’s casting announcements for over six months now, with news that Maggie Grace had signed on; Carla Gugino had replaced Salma Hayek; and Moon Bloodgood and Oliver Jackson-Cohen were also set to star. Now we bring you an exciting peek (via Yahoomovies) at what promises to be a knock-down drag-out action spectacular with the added credibility of Billy Bob Thornton alongside the man once known simply as “The Rock.”
