Dexter Season 5 casting keeps on rolling, now adding the L-Word’s Katherine Moennig for a single episode according to TV Guide. The only other details as of yet revealed is that she will play a tattoo artist. I think I’m only familiar with her work via the adaptation of Clowes’ Art School Confidential.
As alluded to above, Moenning is just the latest in a parade of casting announcements for the 5th season (which starts on September 26th), which began with the May announcement of the return of Julie Benz, Shawn Hatsoy, Peter Weller (Robocop!), Maria Doyle Kennedy, April Lee Hernandez, and Julia Styles (who reportedly has a 10-episode deal), whose character will reportedly be closely connected to another new face in Jonny Lee Miller.
