Before reading this article on Gamigo’s Loong: The Power of the Dragon, I would first suggest reading my article on Black Prophecy, linked here, to learn about Gamigo as a company. To avoid repetition, I won’t go into a long-winded history of the company. There were three major unveilings at E3 2010 by Gamigo, and this is the second of the three games I’ll be covering. The other is King of Kings III. All three games are free-to-play MMOs: one action, one RPG, and the other space/science-fiction.
But for now, I’m going to talk about Loong: Power of the Dragon, a beautiful MMORPG that probably was one of the most stunningly artistic and graphically pleasing games on the entire E3 show floor. And that’s saying a lot. You won’t be able to tell just how amazing it is by the off-screen images or video below, but trust me, it’s a gorgeous game.

Loong: The Power of the Dragon has been the most successful MMORPG launched in China in 2010, and it’s finally making its way to the western world to whisk players along on a fantastic journey through an intricately designed version of ancient China. Believe me, this is a world unlike any other in games – it’s eye candy to the max.

Is that...an angel?
The game gives players the unique power to leap across vast distances, and grants superhuman abilities. Running along walls, through the air, or across the water’s surface is child’s play for your character. The powerful game engine makes highly-detailed graphics during epic battles between up to 500 warriors possible.
Unlike most other MMORPGs, the player is not bound to a specific class of character. In Loong: The Power of the Dragon, each player is free to choose their own path and can learn every skill. Thousands of quests are waiting to be completed. Loyal companionship and assistance await in the form of more than 100 pets! Each heroic act is rewarded; the most heroic warrior will be the most highly-decorated. Again, the artistic vision is unparalleled. The garb of the characters is intricate and presents a tapestry of design and color that litter the screen with eye-popping visuals. I may need to upgrade my PC rig to get the most out of this game, but it will be well worth it!

Nice kitty...nice kitty.

You won't shoot these deer for sustenance.
