Mad Men Abigail Spencer Joins Cowboys & Aliens
When Platinum Studios launched Scott Mitchell Rosenberg’s graphic novel series Cowboys & Aliens, they probably didn’t count on it attracting the interest of Iron Man director Jon Favreau and stars like Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, and Sam Rockwell. But now the ladies are getting into the mix. First, it was hot starlet Olivia Wilde. Now it looks like Mad Men actress Abigail Spencer is throwing her cowgirl hat in the ring. With all this interest, Cowboys & Aliens is picking up real franchise potential. The film, like the comic, takes place in 1800′s Arizona and involves cowboys and Apaches doing battle with a race of aliens out to enslave humanity. Cowboys & Aliens hits theaters July 29, 2011.
