Madmen’s Jon Hamm on The Simpsons ‘Donnie Fatso’

Homer Simpson is going to work…for the FBI? And it looks like he’s got Mad Men star Jon Hamm there to guide him. The episode, entitled “Donnie Fatso,” is scheduled for December, and, according to EW, will follow Homer as he ventures into prison and becomes an informant for the Feds. His goal: bring down the ruthless Fat Tony and minions. Hamm’s character will be Homer’s supervisor, a man who, understandably, is short on patience for everyone’s favorite dad without a clue.

This is not Hamm’s first go at lighthearted comedy. Previous guest appearances on Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock will attest to that. Here’s hoping it won’t be his last. In the meantime, things are picking up for him on the career front. His turn in Zack Snyder’s upcoming Sucker Punch hits theaters in early 2011, and the fourth season of Mad Men premieres Sunday night.
