In August 2009, THR reported on an upcoming TV pilot from Steven Spielberg’s Dreamworks banner that would see Noah Wyle doing battle with an invading alien force. At that point, the project was untitled, but since then has gone through two changes. The first, “Fallen Skies,” didn’t sound quite right, so Dreamworks decided on the much catchier Falling Skies in anticipation of its 2011 release.
Still no specific air date given, but the show is for TNT, and it will co-star the lovely, amazing Moon Bloodgood, who aside from having one of the coolest names in show business, was also a much-needed breath of fresh air in 2009′s Terminator: Salvation. Bloodgood is clearly no stranger to fighting against human oppression, but we can’t yet tell how much of that sultry sex appeal she will bring with her to the show. From the pics, she looks pretty conservative (insert frownie face here).
