Sandman Meditations – Reading Neil Gaiman

Matthew Cheney was the first name to come to mind when I decided that I wanted a Sandman feature over at Gestalt Mash, so it’s kicking off my one-way cross promotion of the launch of a new site called Gestalt Mash, a group blog which will feature regular contributors and guest pieces, covering all things awesome. One of the regular features is an issue-by-issue journey of Gaiman’s iconic Sandman run for DC/Vertigo, taken on by the aforementioned writer/editor/blogger that everyone in the online SF/F book world knows, one Matthew Cheney, whose Mumpsimus is one of the real O.G. personal online venues that covered SF/F. The feature is called Sandman Meditations, and the first installment — ‘Sleep the Just’ — is now up.
