The Pillars of the Earth – ‘Redemption’ (1.03) teaser

Earlier in the week we brought you a “Making Of’ featurette” for The Pillars of The Earth, an 8-part minseries on Starz based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Ken Follett. The series, which stars the likes of Ian McShane, Donald Sutherland, Rufus Sewell and Hayley Atwell, debuted last night and I’m interested in seeing some reaction to it from the many fans of the novel (and hope McShane does well, seeing how NBC canceled Kings — Al Swearengen should never be canceled!). Below we have tv teaser for the third episode, which is titled ‘Redemption’.

The official site for the show reveals this episode synopsis: Prior Philip and William find themselves in a standoff over access to the Shiring quarry. Jack’s artistic talents take hold. Aliena starts a business to help earn money for Richard’s chance to become a knight.
