Zac Efron Darth Vader in Robot Chicken: Star Wars

Buckle your seat belts Star Wars fans, there’s going to be a “Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode III.” Made possible by an Adult Swim and Robot Chicken team-up, the third chapter in the Geek candy series of specials will premier December 12 and star teen heartthrob Zac Efron as the voice of Anakin Skywalker. Other voice talent for “Episode III” will include co-creators Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, Anthony Daniels (the original C3PO), Seth MacFarlane, and Rachael Leigh Cook, among others.

“We’re telling more of a linear story this time that covers the series from start to finish,” says Seth Green. Matthew Senreich adds, “We wanted to take the Star Wars universe and see it through the eyes of our Robot Chicken: Star Wars Emperor Palpatine, Darth Vader, Boba Fett and Gary the Storm trooper. We’ll still flip around the universe but we’ll get a unique perspective from the bad guy side, from people who just want to rule the universe.” Chris McKay directs the feature. You can get into the hysterics at the Adult Swim Robot Chicken page at the network’s website.
