Huntington’s disease is not a new topic to television drama. It ran in the family of Sarah Drew’s Everwood character, Hannah. More recently, the neuro-degenerative genetic disorder featured on House with Olivia Wilde’s character, affectionately referred to as Thirteen. Now Numb3rs star Diane Farr will tango with the frightening disease, for which there is no cure, on season seven of Grey’s Anatomy.
Grey’s returns to television in September (check out the primer) with Farr appearing in the new season’s fourth episode as a patient under Meredith’s care. Mandy Moore will appear again on the medical series and Caterina Scorsone will guest star. James Tupper will also appear. Speaking of Thirteen on House, did you hear that Amber Tamblyn would join that show’s cast while Wilde is working on sci fi epic Tron Legacy?
