Eminem and Rihanna – Love the Way You Lie video with Megan Fox

Those are just a few lyrics from Eminem’s track, “Love the Way You Lie”, off of his latest album, “Recovery”. It has topped music charts for three weeks now. Today we’re featuring the video. Rihanna sings the chorus while Megan Fox and Lost actor Dominic Monaghan portray a sultry couple unable to shake the unending cycle of love and hate, rage and guilt. Is the fire here a metaphor? People trapped in the grip of domestic violence are toxic to one another. But how many of their stories end in literal flames? The question this video inspires is, then, are we glorifying a nasty topic, or is it done justice?

“There’s nothing sexy or cool or fun about being in a violent relationship,” Monaghan assured MTV.com. The actor said he injured his knee and his hand during filming. He further related his thoughts on what Eminem’s song means, saying, “Ultimately, what I think he’s trying to say in the song … is that he should have walked away a little bit quicker than he did and not let it get as messy as it did.” Monaghan postures that even a good video can include a message of caution. Is that a good excuse for the embattled couple looking so hot? Rihanna, no stranger to the video’s topic, told Access Hollywood, working this project was something she needed to do. She called it authentic and real. In other news, the singer will also appear in a future Peter Berg film. Eminem, in fact, may soon appear on Entourage, season seven.

   This just in, according to MSN.com’s Wonderwall Megan Fox donated every penny of what she earned for her appearance to Los Angeles women’s shelter, “Sojourn”. Good on her, eh?

   I love this song I can relate to it 110% everyone thinks its always the man but what about when the woman hits the man first! I live in this situation and this song just fits!
