Kristen Stewart – Welcome to the Rileys pics

If you missed the dramatic trailer for Welcome to the Rileys, then you missed an important moment in the career of Kristen Stewart. There’s some worthwhile acting in this trailer (watch it now), as Stewart portrays a young stripper and prostitute who collides with a man (James Gandolfini) running away from a tragedy that has driven a wedge between he and his wife, and later that man’s wife when she appears, too. Is this Stewart’s time to garner critical acclaim? The film debuted at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival, but I’m sure more reviews will come out on and around November 5, when it sees a limited release.

Melissa Leo plays Gandolfini’s wife in the movie which was filmed in New Orleans. Speaking of Louisiana, that Southern state is also getting some love from the Twilight Saga. Filming for Breaking Dawn began in Baton Rouge. Part one of that final romantic chapter will premier in November of 2011, with part two hitting theaters November of 2012. Meanwhile Stewart is also hard at work for On the Road, the Kerouak adaptation, that saw a Rob Pattinson set visit. No lie! Fans can also see Stewart in The Yellow Handkerchief now available on DVD.
