The Huffington Post draws our attention to some new pics of Lindsay Lohan playing porn star Linda Lovelace in the upcoming Inferno, an examination of the adult film legend’s life including her role in the infamous Deep Throat. In the article, the film producers talk some about the rumors that Lohan would be replaced by Sarah Scott of Nip/Tuck and True Blood fame. Apparently, this is “completely unfounded and untrue,” according to producer Chris Hanley.
The film’s director Matthew Wilder concurred. “There is no actor more ideally suited to this role than Lindsay.” Not sure if that is a compliment or what, considering this is the woman responsible for 1975′s abysmal Linda Lovelace for President.
