We just got some images from CW giving us a sneak peek at The Vampire Diaries Season 2 premiere. Returning on Thursday, September 9th (at 8pm), the premiere is brilliantly titled ‘The Return’. I’m guessing that our own — or as I like to call her Gestalt Mash’s – Elena will be covering this season like she did last season. And yes…Dobrev gets headline status at BSC, want to change it? Volunteer!
A couple of days ago we go what I think was our first glimpse at season 2 footage via the Teen Choice teaser after getting a couple of promos utilizing season 1 scenes and general hotness. Also this month, we learned that Courteny Ford would be appearing Mystic Falls this season, joining the previously announced Taylor Kinney as new faces for fans to expect. With these images, CW told us more to come very soon!

of course anyone playing an Elena gets headline status here! and i’ve already got the date marked on my calendar. bless cw for not making me wait till the END of the month like everyone else is.
I can’t wait to see Season 2 “The Return”! I can’t wait any longer I need to see it now it looks intense and I have a feeling that Stefan will kill Katherine from what I’ve seen I dunno or maybe Damon will when he finds out that he isn’t part of her life anymore. I really really hope that Stefan and Elena remain a couple. I can’t I mean I kind of see Elena and Damon as a couple but not really she likes him a little but he can be soft and sweet when he wants sometimes it would be awesome to see them as a couple. But it would be weird to see Elena as a vampire because it would be confusing to people because they could think that she’s Katherine. Elena is a strong girl she probably isn’t afraid of Katherine. It’s a little wierd in the Twilight Saga to kill a vampire they have to rip them apart and burn the pieces and in the Vampire Diaries they have to use a wooden stake to kill a vampire. If I had to kill a vampire I would drink vervain first cuz I don’t want to get bit then I would sneak up behind one but then they might see me maybe find some camoflauge material and then kill them during night time. Lol I feel like I wrote a paragraph xD
Yes, I read all of the books that are currently out and Elena kills Katherine by pushing her into the sunlight, but ultimately killing herself as well in the process.
It is a very emotional scene in the books and I have no doubts that the actors will be able to bring the scene to life. xoxo Spencer
