As we’ve mentioned before, Jay and I are spending this fall reading A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin over at Gestalt Mash. For me it’s my first time, for Jay his…well, he’s never explicitly said, but I suspect he can’t count that high. So you’ve got two perspectives, mine, as unadulterated as someone who blogs in the SFF realm’s perspective can be, and his, as convoluted and re-thought/over-thought/not-what-you-thought as someone who blogs in the SFF realm’s perspective can be.
This time we’re up to the second chapter from Catelyn Stark’s point of view, and the commentary is fierce. Also full of ”Elena, step off” spoilers, so I have no real idea idea what is being said. Kind of like that suspiciously not-shown-to-the-readers letter she just burned….So drop on by G-mash already, and catch up with the project if you’re the hold out not already doing so!
