Jonathan Hickman’s SHIELD review – (Marvel Comics)

Over at Gestalt Mash, a new edition of ‘Won on One’ (following up last week’s llook at VALIANT’S Magnus Robot Fighter) has been up. It’s not really a review a all (if it is, it’s certainly a poor one!) This is the first issue of the newish series from Jonathan Hickman, one of my favorite current writers in the biz, who has previously brought us such noteworthy projects like the The Nightly News and Pax Romana (not to mention Marvel’s Secret Warriors and Fantastic Four). Check out my thoughts on S.H.I.E.L.D #1.

Even if i wasn’t easy (one panel sold me) I would have dug S.H.I.E.L.D. a brand old title looking back into the neo-history of the Marvel U. and the organization.
