Katy Perry opening Saturday Night Live
The hot and cold pop diva Katy Perry will be opening up a new season of Saturday Night Live, reports the singer’s official site. Slated for a September 25 premiere, SNL is going pretty A-list with this choice of first musical guest. Hopefully, they will get the young hottie who kissed a girl and did, in fact, like it to star in some of the skits as well.
After all, Perry is starting to show her acting chops with an upcoming turn as Smurfette in the upcoming sure-fire Oscar contender The Smurfs, slated for an August 3, 2011, release. This could just be one more brick in the foundation of what is sure to be a spectacular acting career.
(Okay, so I’m a little miffed that I won’t be able to watch The Smurfs without thinking impure thoughts.)
