You may have missed the concert of the year over at Madison Square Garden this week in New York. Don’t worry, it was sold out anyway. Justin Bieber rocked the crowd along with a few friends. AceShowBiz reports that Miley Cyrus joined Bieber on the stage to sing her “My World 2.0″ song “Overboard”. The pair were “wearing matching black outfits” and were answered by an anthem of screaming fans “whenever they made any physical contact”.
Usher (who you’ll find in the “Somebody to Love” video), Ludacris, Sean Kingston, and Boyz II Men (wow) also took the stage, as did Bieber pal Jaden Smith who collaborated with the teen idol for “Never Say Never”. You know, Cyrus and Bieber have partied together before. This must be what the young man does in-between acting gigs (like his debut for CSI) and penning memoirs.
The Tuesday concert was actually filmed for Justin Bieber’s upcoming 3-D movie. That’s why “concertgoers were encouraged to wear [Bieber's] favorite color, purple”. Way to change the world, kid. Director of the upcoming film, Jon Chu, wrote on Twitter, “Can’t wait 4 the world 2 experience @Justinbieber the way Madison Square Garden experienced it tonight. It’s going down in history. Feb 2011.” If you need a fix of that baby-face sooner, see Bieber alongside Shaq in this promo video for “Shaq VS”.
