Never Let Me Go International Trailer

You’re not going to find many folks around BSC that aren’t keyed up for the January 21 release of Never Let Me Go, the Kazuo Ishiguro-authored masterpiece that Time Magazine calls “the best novel of the decade.” Jury’s out on whether I’d agree with that statement, but it’s definitely worth your time. Taking a coming of age love triangle and serving it up with a chilling sci-fi twist, the Remains of the Day author Ishiguro has created a story of such depth and character that you can’t help but feel something by the last page.

Sweetening the deal for the big screen adaptation from director Mark Romanek is the cast, which includes Keira Knightley, Andrew Garfield and Carey Mulligan, three of today’s hottest young stars, and the legendary Charlotte Rampling. Hailsham is a very special kind of school where the youth are raised not to feel or hope. But as this trailer states, love makes them human.
