Titties in a promo still–a very bold marketing decision, but one that I have no problems with. Marcus Nispel’s upcoming Conan reboot, based on the classic character by Robert E. Howard, is shaping up to be epic. While Nispel is sort of 1-for-2 with me–did not care for the Friday the 13th remake, but thought the Texas Chainsaw Massacre was a damn good time–his involvement in this project has my interest piqued.
While the headline for this article may feature Jason Momoa, the Arnold replacement, make no mistake. You’re going to notice those ample bosoms above all else. I’m assuming this flick will be rated R, which means anything goes on the violence, too. Just the way ol’ Howard would have wanted it, rest his soul. Conan opens in 2011. No official release date has been announced, but stay tuned to BSC for more details. This project seems to be rocking along fine, so we should hear something any day now.
