The Walking Dead Poster
Not sure how far I would go in saying The Walking Dead is a new original series from AMC. After all, the concept of a zombie apocalypse has been around quite some time and been exploited time and again–thank you, George Romero–but somehow I still want to see this. For starters, the comic book series has been around for more than 70 issues, and anyone who tries to make a splash in that medium today will attest to how impressive that truly is.
It also doesn’t hurt that AMC has a reputation for rich characterization and finding the right cast chemistry. In the hands of the people behind Breaking Bad and Mad Men, it’s easy to see how this show could be worth your time. Until it premieres on Halloween Night, you’ll just have to enjoy this poster shot.
