From Marketwire, BSC brings you the news of hottie Vida Guerra and singer Julio Iglesias, Jr., joining forces for a sizzling hot new weekly drama entitled Hacienda Heights. What this show, executive produced by Desmond Gumbs and Dennis Ray, does is unprecedented. Instead of filming in one language and working dubs on the other, Hacienda Heights will be filmed in both Spanish and English to increase its appeal to American audiences. Both versions will feature the voices of the original actors, “so not to distract” from what is going on.
Not much is known about the production itself. It will be a slice of life-type show that takes place in the community of Hacienda Heights. If it helps, Gumbs originally tested out a half-hour version between The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless, so that’s the sort of thing you’ll be getting yourselves into come 2011.
