Aurra Sing Back in Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Lucasfilm and the Cartoon Network announce the return of Aurra Sing to Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series following the “left for dead” ending Sing received at the end of season two. Also returning is Jaime King, the voice of Sing. The episode, entitled “Assassin,” premieres on Oct. 22 at 9 p.m. EST. King is best known to audiences for her roles in My Bloody Valentine 3D, Sin City, and The (godawful) Spirit. She had this to say about her character (from the official press release):
“Aurra never dies. She gives what she takes and she kind of enjoys it. She does have a bad taste in her mouth [after the events of Season Two], but rather than being bitter and angry, she is doing what she needs to do. It’s a very cut-and-dried thing for her. Everything that happens makes her more intense and ruthless. She says bring it.” Thanks to ComingSoon.net for the heads up!
