Kristin Davis to Journey 2: The Mysterious Island
Kristin Davis, Charlotte from Sex and the City and she of the doomed toothbrush fame on Seinfeld, is moving on to two new projects–one for TV, the other for the big screen. Deadline reported on Monday that Davis would be the love interest in Journey 2: The Mysterious Island opposite Dewayne “The Rock” Johnson. The 3D sequel to Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D will also star Michael Caine. Filming has begun in Hawaii.
Davis has had most of her success on the small screen with the aforementioned turn on SATC, and she has no plans of abandoning the medium. Other news shows the stunning actress leading the charge on the single-cam comedy The Happiness Project, based on Gretchen Rubin’s best-selling memoir. The Happiness Project will be based in New York and dramatize Rubin’s search for happiness trying out different studies and theories to see which works best.
