I review the new TV series, movies, books, and recap the episodes you missed. In today’s segment I review Let Me In. Let Me In is a remake of the Swedish film Let The Right One In based on the book of the same title by John Ajvide Lindqvist. When a strange young girl moves in next door the Owen his life is changed forever. Let Me In stars Kodi Smit-McPhee as Owen best known from the movie The Road and Chloe Moretz as Abby from Kick-Ass. The main question on every ones mind is can Let Me In hold its own next to the critical acclaimed original? Next time I review new historical fiction novel Annexed by Sharon Dogar.

How can the reviewer judge a film on its own merit, when its merit is based on the quality of the original film? Would she also not look at an original Picasso, so that she could properly judge the 1rst year art student’s reproduction? Ironically, I have the exact opposite philosophy as I have no interest in watching this reproduction, seeing as I have already witnessed a masterpiece in the original film.
