Let Me In – Red Band Clip
Creepy ass red band clip of Let Me In shows Chloe Moretz working up a number six on Virginia (Sasha Barrese) without the rape (Blazing Saddles reference, forgive me). The remake of Let the Right One In has not exactly scored gangbusters with audiences despite appearing to be faithful to the incredible original. Perhaps folks are finally getting sick of the remake of a foreign horror movie motif that Hollywood has profited from for so long. Regardless of the reason, $6.7 million after seven days including one weekend is not what I would call “stellar.”
Once you factor in the rest of Let Me In‘s theatrical run and its home video sales it should not have any trouble making back its money, but heading in to the Halloween season, you have to think the studios expected more. Maybe they’ll get a boost from the folks like me who haven’t seen it yet but desperately want to. Anyone out there given this one a watch yet? Let us know what you thought.
