Here’s a great new pic from Scream 4 debuted by E!. The Scream films have proven to be the most durable of horror film franchises and have been going strong for nearly 15 years now. The first Scream film opened in 1996, and as long as they keep making money, they’ll no doubt continue to be made.

Horror maven Wes Craven returns as director, and Kevin Williamson handles screenwriting duties. There are some familiar faces in the cast that will please many loyal Scream fans. They include David Arquette, Neve Campbell and Courtney Cox. But there are also some newcomers to the cast that might draw some new younger fans to the franchise. Some of the newbies include Hayden Panettiere (Heroes), Emma Roberts (The Winning Season), Rory Culkin (The Chumscrubber) and Nico Tortorella (Twelve). Anna Paquin (True Blood) and Kristen Bell (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) are also part of the cast.

The film is scheduled to open in the U.S. on April 15, 2011.
