Stephenie Meyer’s The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide in 2011

Entertainment Weekly announces the release of a brand new book by Stephenie Meyer. No, it is not a Twilight Saga sequel like The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner (read a review), but instead it’s a new reference book which serves as an official encyclopedia to the series.

From Little Brown Books for Young Readers and slated to set fans back $24.99, the book includes “character profiles, outtakes, a conversation with Meyer, genealogical charts, maps, extensive cross-references, and much more.” It is illustrated by Young Kim, who also provided the artwork for Twilight: The Graphic Novel, Volume 1. You can make your purchase of the Twi-Guide April 12, 2011.

Of the book, Meyer said, “I’m always amazed at how many in-depth questions my readers have about my characters and the world within the Twilight Saga. With The Official Illustrated Guide, I hoped we could incorporate as many details as possible, including character histories, like Alice’s back story.” Keep your browser on BSC for up to the minute Breaking Dawn film news, like this casting story.
