Vanessa Hudgens eyed for Journey 2: The Mysterious Island
According to Comingsoon.net, Vanessa Hudgens is to play the female lead in the follow up to Journey To The Centre Of The Earth, entitled, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.
The New Line/Warner Brothers movie will be directed by Brad Peyton and will star other well-known names such as Michael Caine. Josh Hutcherson plays alongside Hudgens as their characters embark on a trip to a mystical island in search of Hutcherson’s missing grandfather, who is played by Caine. Hudgens takes the role of a Pacific islander who gets caught up in the drama.
Filming kicks off later this month in North Carolina and Hawaii, taking Ms Hudgens to presumably dizzying heights of stardom following her performances in High School Musical, it’s various counterparts and Bandslam.
