Amanda Seyfried in Red Riding Hood trailer

We have a trailer, debuted by APPLE, for Amanda Seyfried’s upcoming film Red Riding Hood. The film is directed Catherine Hardwicke, who helmed the first Twilight film, and it is loosely based on the famous fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood by the Brothers Grimm. Leonardo DiCaprio, Michael Ireland, Jennifer Davisson Killoran, Alex Mace and Julie Yorn produced the film for Warner Bros. The film is set in a medieval village that is haunted by a werewolf, and a young girl (Seyfried) falls for an orphaned woodcutter (Shiloh Fernandez), much to her family’s displeasure.

In addition to Seyfried and Fernandez, some of the other cast members include Gary Oldman, Luca Haas, Virginia Madsen, Julie Christie and Billy Burke.

Seyfried has done a lot of work in television and was a regular on the hit HBO series Big Love and played the character Sophie in the hugely successful Mamma Mia! .
