Resident Evil: Damnation trailer!

Great stuff for you Resident Evil fans. We’ve got a trailer from G4TV.com for the upcoming CG-animated feature Resident Evil: Damnation. The trailer will be featured on the DVD and 3D Blu-ray releases of Resident Evil: Afterlife. The DVD and 3D Blu-ray of Afterlife will be released simultaneously on December 28, 2010. Damnation is the sequel to the full-length CG-animated feature Resident Evil: Degeneration, which was released in 2008. Damnation is bond to knock your socks off with its in-your-face CG animation and dazzling action sequences.

The film will be directed by Makoto Kamiya, who also directed Resident Evil: Degeneration, and will be produced by Hiroyuki Kobayashi (producer Resident Evil: Degeneration, associate producer Resident Evil: Afterlife and Resident Evil: Apocalypse). Resident Evil: Damnation will focus on Leon S. Kennedy as its main character.

The Resident Evil franchise still has sturdy legs; Resident Evil: Afterlife starring Milla Jovovich, which was released in September, has pulled in healthy box office numbers. At present, it has a worldwide gross of more than $270 million. Resident Evil: Damnation is set to be released sometime in 2012. Enjoy the trailer!
