TRON Legacy Clip and Poster

Here’s a clip (debuted by MSN) and a poster (by Myspace) from the upcoming sci-fi film TRON: Legacy. The film is a sequel to the 1982 film TRON, which starred Jeff Bridges as hacker Kevin Flynn. Bridges reprises the role in TRON: Legacy. TRON was one of the first films from a major studio to use extensive computer graphics. It was a pretty groundbreaking film for its time, and it’s kind of surprising that it took so long for a TRON sequel to be made, especially in this sequel-obsessed film industry.

Joseph Kosinski makes his feature film directorial debut with TRON: Legacy, while previous TRON director, Steven Lisberger, returns as a producer. Bruce Boxleitner reprises his role as Alan Bradley and Tron, while Garrett Hedlund portrays Flynn’s now-adult son, Sam. Some of the other cast members include Olivia Wilde, Beau Garrett, Michael Sheen and John Hurt. TRON: Legacy will open in the U.S. on December 17, 2010.[[3]
