American Country Awards Winners

The fans were heard at the American Country Awards and they said: Carried Underwood. Last night, the ceremonies for the inaugural American Country Awards took place, providing the venue for (another) big night for former American Idol winner Carrie Underwood. Underwood was nominated for 6 awards and swept her categories including Female Artist of the Year, Album of the Year and the top honor of overall of Top Artist of the Year, mirroring her previous win at the Academy of Country Music Awards. The American Country Awards is unique to Country in that it’s largely fan voted-on. Check out the rest of the winner below, which included a nice night for Lady Antebellum.
