Boardwalk Empire – Jack Huston Promoted

Well, deadline.com calls him “the brilliantly scary Richard Harrow”. He’s actor Jack Houston who portrays Harrow on HBO’s Boardwalk Empire. The good word is audiences will see much more oh his character on the show next year.

British actor, Houston, debuted the role for five episodes “during the second half of the prohibition era drama’s first season”, and is now joining the great cast to become a series regular for Boardwalk‘s second season. His character, Harrow, is “a disfigured war veteran and former sharpshooter in the American army who has the left side of his face covered with a painted tin plate.” He owes his second chance at a better life to Jimmy Darmody (Michael Pitt) who gave him a job as, what else, a hit-man and bodyguard. Interestingly enough Jack Huston is the “grandson of John Huston and nephew of Anjelica Huston.” He also recently played a role on the Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
