Some media buzz from TVGuide is sure to have fans of The Vampire Diaries talking.

In addition to Elena getting some insight into her sibling suitors, courtesy of a flashback to 1864, Katerina Graham (who plays Bonnie Bennett) says that death will come a knockin’, and while it won’t exactly be a massacre where everyone drops like flies, a couple of important characters will definitely be meeting their end.

In less fatal news, Michaela McManus gives us some ideas about what to expect in the new season, Ian Somerhalder talks about being wet and naked with a beautiful girl, a vampire might become the next Buffy, and there’s a potential companion series in the works that’s being described as X-Files meets Buffy.
