Doctor Who, the quirky time-lord from the planet Gallifrey, has had plenty of adventures and mis-adventures in a variety of times and places, but he’ll be wandering in classic territory on Christmas Day.

Doctor Who – A Christmas Carol has the Doctor taking on Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, putting the necessary time-traveling spin on the classic tale, of course. At the heart of the story is the Doctor’s mission of saving the soul of a bitter old man but there’s a lot at stake because the Doctor’s companion might not live to see another day if he’s unable to change the old man’s ways.
