Eliza Dushku is TNT’s Bird Dog

Eliza Dushku–you know who she is–has signed on to star in the father-daughter team-up series Bird Dog for TNT. Dushku plays a cop following in her father’s footsteps, reports Deadline. On patrol in a small town out west, daughter receives an unexpected visitor when her father leaves NYC to join his daughter on the beat. Together, the two will have to bust heads, solve cases, and learn how to get along with each other.

Father role has not yet been cast, but what is known is that Mike Robe will write and direct the pilot. Robe has been nominated throughout his career for one Primetime Emmy, though a win has eluded him. Most of his work is in television with director chores on TV movies such as The Junction Boys, Montana Sky, and Northern Lights.
