Eliza Dushku out of Bird Dog

Get ready to pout Eliza Dushku fans. What can I say, the news can’t be good all of the time. I was looking forward to the Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum returning to the small screen. Dollhouse is over and now just as we were hearing about the new project called Bird Dog, it seems that is over, too.

Well, allow me to clarify. The show, as far as we know, still has a green light. The TNT drama was described by Deadline.com as a “mystery fashioned around an unlikely partnership of a father-daughter cop duo.”

Dushku, however, is now off the show. She had this to say via Twitter, “Hey guys! News to report~ We have mutually & AMICABLY decided to part ways on “Bird Dog” due to creative differences. No worries/fears/tears.”
