Meet the Smurfs!

Get ready to paint the town blue. No, this isn’t a story about James Cameron or Avatar sequels. This is a story about an older entity. We know them as the Smurfs. They don’t ride dragons, but one has a beard and another has flowing blond locks and a little white dress.

Here at BSC we’ve done our best to keep fans apprised of all the developments for the Colombia Pictures live-action and CGI-animated family film, The Smurfs, which will be available for your viewing pleasure August 3, 2011 (in 3D, of course). Go and visit the teaser trailer if you haven’t yet.

Now we can unveil a high res image of the Smurfs from Sony. The wee folk are lost in central park. Just which Smurfs are pictured, exactly? Why left to right they are Clumsy, Grouchy, Papa, Smurfette, Gutsy and Brainy. Say, is Gutsy wearing a kilt? Interesting…
