Raven of DC Comics to CW

Fans of DC Comics have a new reason to rejoice. Sure, Smallville, that youthful look at Superman, is on its final season on the CW, but who better to fill the void than a hot new DC super heroine? Variety reports the CW is now considering a small screen adaptation about “Raven,” aka Rachel Roth.

Roth, a sometime member of the hero team the Teen Titans, is “a half-demon” and an empath with teleportation abilities. She can “enter the minds of others” and uses “her skills to fight crime while trying to keep her dark internal elements in check”. There’s already a “script order at the CW through Warner Bros. TV and DC Entertainment”.
