The Cape teaser with Summer Glau
NBC sent over a teaser today featuring Summer Glau in The Cape. Her presence here is hardly a departure from the norm, as she once breathed TV life into the Terminator series with Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Glau is certainly in familiar territory and it shows here. She has also logged roles in Firefly, Serenity, The Unit, The 4400, and Superman/Batman: Apocalypse, so she clearly knows her way around gritty crime-drama and superheroes, two elements which The Cape seeks to exploit.
The pilot for NBC’s superhero epic will premiere on Jan. 9. It will be the first of an 8-episode run that should wrap up near the end of February or sometime in March.
