True Grit – Movie Review

Joel and Ethan Coen bring us one of the best westerns since Unforgiven. In True Grit a young woman named Mattie Ross hires a Marshal to help her avenge her fathers murder. True Grit was first adapted in 1969 with John Wayne in an award winning performance as Rooster Cogburn. True Grit stars Jeff Bridges as Rooster Cogburn, Matt Damon as LaBoeuf, Josh Brolin as Tom Chaney, and introduces Hailee Steinfeld as Mattie Ross.
