Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man Pic!

Here at BSC, we know a thing or two about dishing out geek candy. For comic book fans in particular, just today we released an image of the new Captain America in costume. But today’s moment is truly epic, with Andrew Garfield in costume as the new Spider-Man being revealed by Sony.

The British star of The Social Network and Boy A is a charismatic cutie with tremendous acting chops to match. He recently talked about winning the once in a lifetime role of the iconic wall crawler. But this is the most exciting moment for the prequel project since the press release about Garfield being cast. He isn’t just cute in this photograph. He is tough, battle worn, and dare I say it, sexy! Thank you Colombia Pictures for this peek at the streamlined spider costume.

Of course the vivacious Emma Stone is Gwen Stacy for the film. Yes, she had to go blond, but still looks great. Flash Thompson has been cast. Denis Leary could take the role of Stacy’s dad. And Rhys Ifans is an unnamed villain that could turn out to be The Lizard. Filming is already under way, as you can clearly see!
