Grey’s Anatomy’s Patrick Dempsey Catches Flypaper

McDreamy actor Patrick Dempsey reportedly wanted to do something “completely different”. We have the details on that new project. NPR delivered the skinny about the upcoming feature film titled Flypaper, a movie for which Dempsey will join the production team.
Dempsey helped promote the film at the Sundance Film Festival this month and called the experience “painful,” claiming there were some days he just “didn’t want to show up.” But in the end he decided his efforts were worth it. He says he’d likely give producing another go in the future.
The comedy stars Ashley Judd and Tim Blake Nelson and revolves around a bank heist.
Dempsey has appeared in a handful of films since joining the cast of Grey‘s in 2005. They include Enchanted, Made of Honor, and Valentine’s Day. He has a “dark” role in the upcoming action spectacular Transformers: Dark of the Moon. You can view the teaser trailer right here on BSC. We’ve also got the latest Transformer news.
Speaking of Grey‘s, the talented Loretta Devine is returning to the set, as is Kate Walsh. We’ve got promo materials for the “Golden Hour” episode, and for “Don’t Deceive Me”.
For his work on Grey‘s Patrick Dempsey has earned numerous award nominations to include a Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series (2005) and the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Male TV Star (2009).
