Jessica Walter Enters the Big Bang Theory

Jessica Walter, known as Lucille Bluth to Arrested Development fans, will be experiencing a big bang in February.

TV Line has confirmed that Walter will be appearing alongside cast regulars Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons and Kaley Cuoco in CBS’s The Big Bang Theory.

The episode is expected to air in February and features Walter as Barbara Latham, a wealthy donor to the university whose upcoming grant to the science department might be determined by Leonard (Galecki) compromising his virtue.

In addition to her appearance on The Big Bang Theory, Walter has also been busy providing the voice of Malory Archer in the FX Network’s animated Archer and starring in the new TV Land series, Retired at 35, which starts January 19th. She’s also expected to reprise her role of Lucille Bluth in the Arrested Development movie that’s scheduled for 2012.

The Big Bang Theory has a pretty good rep with keeping things interesting with guest stars, which have included hottie Eliza Dushku, Battlestar Galactica’s Katee Sackhoff, and the king of comics, Stan Lee, so I’m looking forward to seeing how things go with Walter’s appearance.
